Plus Power is seeking a T&I Engineer to join their T&I Team and perform interconnection modeling analyses and studies. The T&I Engineer will also participate in interconnection scoping meetings and other negotiations with various third parties and grid authorities. The qualified candidate will have a thorough understanding of the requirements to integrate a BESS utility scale power plant into the power grid.

We’re looking for electrical engineering specialists who live and breathe circuit design, signal processing, electromagnetics, power systems, control theory, embedded systems, semiconductor devices, and communications engineering. You’ll challenge advanced language models on topics like analog and digital circuit analysis, PCB design, Fourier and Laplace transforms, microcontroller architecture, power electronics, wireless communication protocols, and real-time system integration—documenting every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning.

As a Project Engineer, you will manage, optimize design and lead the execution of Energy Vault BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects; collaborate with project managers, construction managers, customer, outside vendors, AHJ and consultants; and help document and build scalable processes, technology, and products.
